Project Objective To create a new website for Jim Daley Architect giving it a clean uncluttered look‚ highlighting your best or favorite project on the Home page. Beyond the look your website must open to a message that immediately tells the viewer that they are in the right place‚ that you understand the problem that people have when choosing an architect and you can solve that problem. This message needs to be targeted to the kind of clients you want to work with and not be just a general message about your business. We talked about how you did not want to be fielding a lot of calls and requests from people that would just be wasting your time.
Because I believe that a website should do more than just look good‚ list your services and provide contact information I go further than just the design. In my process I work with you to learn about why you do the work you‚ how you do it differently and who you want to do this work for. This process uncovers past experiences and what you learned along the way to make you a better architect.
We will spend time on who is your ideal client‚ what they appreciate and rave about from your service. We’ll learn how to focus the messaging and the copy to attract this kind of clients. This work I believe is the most important step when creating a website. Defining your opening message and the site copy to attract your specific ideal client will lead to more conversions from your website for more informations‚ calls‚ meetings and new customers.
While the message and the content are what leads to converting visitors to your site‚ the look of your site is very important. The look is especially important in a visual field such as architecture‚ visitors to the site want to see what you can do. I propose that the site opens to a clean uncluttered look with beautiful photography that grabs the visitors attention and makes them want to see and learn more about you can do for them.
As I mentioned on our call I came to web design from graphic design. I love making a statement with design‚ the colors‚ the images‚ and the copy all working together to create a piece that looks great and reads well to promote the project. I bring that understanding and love of design to my web projects. Your website will be designed to show not only your technical skill but also the artistic talent and feel you bring to your projects. Adding a little of the unexpected to your architect website‚ which I believe from our talk will attract more of the clients you want to work with.

Strong Calls-To-Action (CTA) will be incorporated into your site‚ with a clear message on what the visitor is to do and what will happen when they take action. CTAs are essential to conversion.
Email Capture form and what you are offering for that email will be incorporated into the design. A free offer is the best way to get people to give you their email. Email marketing is still the best way to stay in front of potential clients.
Video is proven to get more attention than written word alone. Videos should be a part of this site‚ videos about your process or taken during the building of the project will hold visitors on your site longer leading them to learn more about what you have to offer.
